Silk bandana dyed with indigo using clamps, folding and shapes as resists to create a pattern. This technique is known as Itajime shibori. Silk noil is nubbly in texture and has wonderful drape. It gets softer the more it is worn.
Indigo is a natural plant based dye, the blue will not come off onto your skin or other garments. I have washed the bandana with a professional textile detergent to remove excess dye.
Measures roughly 22" x 22" with a raw/torn edge.
